This crème de la crème ceremonial-grade matcha brews an exquisite, buttery-sweet broth of chlorophyll elixir with rich and malty roasted aromas
The crown jewel of our artisan-roasted matcha, Misaki™ uses only the topmost leaves of shade-grown tea trees nurtured for over 30 years before harvest, boasting the sweetest and most luscious taste profile in our range. The captivating aromas of pure umami and roasted caramel can be experienced upon brewing. Packed full of L-theanine and immunity-boosting antioxidants, this rich ambrosia can also be prepared in ‘koicha’ (thick) consistency that can launch you into a transcendent state of alpha-wave nirvana.
Place 1/2 tsp (approx. 2 bamboo scoops) of matcha (~1g) in matcha bowl, then wet with 15ml (0.5fl oz) of 70ºC/160ºF water. Thoroughly knead mixture using bamboo whisk until smooth paste forms. Add 70ml (2.4fl oz) of remaining water and mix until consistent.
Upon sipping, roll the liquid around the palate to appreciate the full flavour anatomy of the tea.
- Store in a cool dry place, away from moisture, sunlight, and odours
- Refrigerate after opening for maximum flavour and potency
i loveee this matcha as an usucha, but in a matcha latte, the matcha flavor does get washed out by sweeteners and the milk. i usually use this in a 2:1 ratio with another matcha powder i have and go super light on the sweetener.. however, the floral and umami notes of this matcha are absolutely superb, definitely climbing my list of favorite matchas! and there’s barely any astringency or bitterness when i drink it—and i will sooo be repurchasing once i finish my tin, esp w this price point !!!
it makes a beautiful microfoam, and its always super bouncy and smooth 🥹

Misaki -best as an iced latte
It has a fragrant aroma and bright hue, reflecting the high grade quality. As an usucha, I found it to be quite astringent. However, when prepared as an iced matcha latte, the floral notes become more pronounced and the texture was well balanced. This is perfect for those who enjoy drinking matcha as a latte.

After my second tin of the Meiko matcha from 100g İ now ordered Misaki.. omg amazing smooth and a little sweet flavour, İ am literally obsessed with both these flavours, if there was an option to buy 100g of Misako İ would immediately buy one!!
