Bamboo chashaku scoop

A traditional matcha portioning utensil, specially designed for measuring half a serving of matcha

Our bamboo chashaku has been designed in line with our brewing instructions to portion half a serving of matcha. Carved from a piece of golden bamboo to a smooth, gentle bend, this indispensable tool is appreciated for its beauty and function. Its elegantly curved shape is specially designed to gracefully hold and dispense the fine powder. Perfect as an accompaniment to our Full-Hand Chasen.

Dimensions: Diameter 25mm / Length 155mm

Portion: ~1/2g of Matcha

+/-10% variations may occur due to the handmade nature of the product

*Please note that the portion will not be exact due to the handmade nature of the utensil as well as the density of matcha.

After each use, rinse with cold water and dry in a well-ventilated area.

Easy to measure, use, and clean

This bamboo chashaku came with the matcha brewing kit that I ordered last week. This give a more traditional style as opposed to the previous glass chashaku. At first I thought it was going to be hard to scoop out matcha from the tin, but it wasn't at all. I learned to scoop it after a second try. Really easy to clean and take care off!
